California Hemp Council formed to represent the interests of the hemp industry in California. Now that hemp farming is legal, it is critical that farmers, manufacturers and brands have representation in Sacramento. The Cal Hemp Council has been leading this effort with passage of SB 1409 in 2018 and continuing to push back on California Department of Public Health efforts to ban products containing hemp derived CBD.
